Compagnie 111 (FR)
I REMEMBER HEAVEN IS FAR AWAY THE EARTH AS WELL
OPENING PERFORMANCE
Duration: 60 min | Language: Ingen | Age: 14+
Join us for a journey through time where memory meets creation. It has been 25 years since Aurélien Bory first saw Heaven is far away the Earth as well. Bory collaborates with director Mladen Materic, creator of the original performance, and reuses the original scenography with permission. The result is a personal re-interpretation. The two instructors explore the space between birth and death, youth and old age, strength, and fatigue – the gap between what you hope for in life, and what you get. This journey through time, put together by the French Compagnie 111, resonates with us all, as it touches on fragments of our own history.
